London

i have arrived in london!
to be honest, i was a little... ok, very sad to leave behind beloved cape town and all the lovelies that come with it.... but when i arrived, i was overwhelmed with excitement.
London is absolutely alive.
and can you believe it? beautiful (well at this time of year anyway)! there are thousands of beautiful daffodils poking their bright yellowness through the ground everywhere. and all the trees are blossoming, lining the streets with white and pink candy floss trees.. hope the prettiness lasts :)
i felt like an ant in a honey jar yesterday at the supermarket.... the wines!!! all i can say is WOW! where to start, its all just far to exciting. france, italy, argentina.... and more... and of course our lovely south african yumminess in a bottle. im not going to go into detail, cas this would go on forever.
and the markets, and the restaurants, you can walk down the road and see, indian, french, italian, greek, seafood, salad.... oh the choices, where to start? what to eat??? my my, i am going to roll home!! hahaha
ok, well the point of this blog is to update on the food that i have been making... and this post has totally ignored that all together. i just felt like writing something!
i start class on thursday... so then i will get back on track :)
friends... please keep me updated with happening at home... tell me stories!!!

It would be my dream to go to Cordon blue, so do it for me as much as you going to do it for yourself. I cant wait to share foodie ideas with you. Good luck for your 1st lesson, hopefully I can come visit you sometime... lots of love xx
